Dale G. Shires, 79, of Iowa City, died Sunday, March 18, 2012, at his home. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 24, at St. Mark's United Methodist Church in Iowa City. Visitation will follow in the Fellowship Hall of the church over a luncheon for all in attendance served by the United Methodist Women.
