Ron Willis, 51, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2016.
Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Willis; children, R.J. (Danielle) Willis, Spencer, Carter and Parker Willis; grandchildren, Raychel, Brynn and Olivia; siblings, Larry Willis, Angie (Donnie) Genthe, Gina Gross and Dewayne (Paula) Willis; many nieces and nephews, including his best friend, Rob; his good friend, Dave; and his dogs, Shelby and Molly.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Mike Willis; and brothers-in-law, Tim Kendall and Dale Gross.
Ron was born Jan. 27, 1965, in Dubuque, Iowa, son of Joe and Virginia (Klecker) Willis. He was united in marriage to Jennifer Kendall on Oct. 3, 1998, in Cedar Rapids. He served in the Army from 1984 to 1991. Ron was a retired mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service.
He helped anyone who asked and was a friend to everyone. He had a love for antique cars and was a lifelong Packers fan.
Ron was a devoted husband and father to his children, and he will be greatly missed.
