South Slope to pick up MLB Network

South Slope Telephone Cooperative will carry MLB Network beginning Sept. 7 on channel 43 in SD and channel 443 in HD.

South Slope serves several towns in Eastern Iowa, including North Liberty, Amana, Ely, Fairfax, Newhall, Norway, Oxford, Solon, Tiffin, Walford, Watkins and parts of Coralville.  

MLB Network carries year-round coverages of Major League Baseball including more than 100 live regular-season games, more than 80 spring training games and original programming. It also boasts an Emmy Award-winning daily show called "MLB Tonight." MLB Network's on-air talent line-up includes Bob Costas, Peter Gammons, Harold Reynolds, Al Leiter, John Smoltz, Kevin Millar, Sean Casey, John Hart, Mitch Williams and other hosts and analysts.
