Donald "Duck" Fish, 57, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Thursday, Jan. 28, 2021. A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2021, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids. A memorial service will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2021, at the funeral home, with Gloria Clinton and Pastor Kathryn Newhall officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery in Hiawatha, Iowa. All guests are respectfully requested to wear a mask and practice social distancing. A livestream of the funeral service may be accessed on the funeral home website tribute page for Duck, under "photos and videos or media," starting at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2021.
Duck was born on Nov. 16, 1963, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Bob Gene and Patricia Lee (Nost) Fish. He graduated from Kennedy High School. Duck worked for his father at Fish Landscaping. He was a member of Buffalo United Methodist Church. Duck enjoyed going to auctions, riding outdoor vehicles and spending time with family.
Survivors include his father, Bob G. Fish; sister, Susan Sanchez; nieces and nephews, Cindy Sanchez, Mason Ash and Jared and Andrew Roberts; great-niece and -nephew, Kassidy and Weston Welsh; girlfriend, Judy; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Fish; and sister, Sheila Roberts.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in Duck's name has been established.
