Smith, Anna E.
Anna E. Smith, 91, of Manchester, formerly of Coggon, died Sunday, Jan. 3, 2010, at the Good Neighbor Home following a short illness. A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manchester, with the Rev. John Flaherty celebrating. Family will greet friends from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, with a 7 p.m. Scripture service, at the Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Manchester. Friends may also call one hour before services Thursday at the church. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Ryan, Iowa.
Anna is survived by her six children, Jim (Carol) Smith of Castle Rock, Colo., Jerry Smith (Anne) of Arkansas, David (Kathy) Smith of Coggon, Mary Pat (Jerry) O'Leary of Manchester, Nancy (Dennis) Pflughaupt of Coggon, and Sandy (Joe) Henderson of Coggon; 15 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
