Debra A. Parks, 56, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2014, in her home after a long
illness. Services: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Our Savior Lutheran Church by Pastor Phil Jorgensen. Visitation will be Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Survivors include her husband, Bill Parks; a daughter, Kimberly (Robert) Webber of Cedar Rapids; her grandchildren, Amanda (Eric) Mager of Marion, Allison Streight of Cedar Rapids, Abbigal Webber of Cedar Rapids, Josh Moore of Kansas City, Mo., Crystal (Omar) Garcia of Cedar Rapids, Robert Webber of Cedar Rapids, Chad Webber of Cedar Rapids and Jared Price of Missouri; her great-grandchildren, Michael Moore, Elna Moore, Elijah Moore, Nathan Garcia, Kaden Mager and Noah Garcia; a brother, Danny (Vicki) Christensen of Marion; and nephews, Dale (Megan) Christensen of Tennessee and Angie (Darin) Conrad of Marion.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Dale Christensen.
Debra was born Jan. 14, 1958, in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Arden and Lois (Randal) Christensen. On Sept. 4, 1973, in Washburn, Iowa, she married Bill Parks, whom she loved very dearly.
Debra was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Debra loved animals, flowers, riding on the motorcycle and reading.
