Glenda Lee Bottorff, 80, passed away Friday, February 26, 2021, at Martina Place in Johnston, IA. Services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 2, at Iles Westover Chapel. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery in West Des Moines. The service will be live-streamed on the Iles website. Glenda was born February 25, 1941, in Mount Pleasant, Iowa, to Dillon and Nina (Spangler) Graff. She married Robert Bottorff in 1961 and they made their home in the Des Moines/Indianola area where they raised their four sons. Glenda worked as a Customer Service Rep for MidAmerican Energy for 15 years.
Glenda is survived by her four sons, Charlie (Brenda) Bottorff of Adel, IA, Brad Bottorff of Wausau, WI, Andy Bottorff of Indianola, IA, and Travis (Cami) Bottorff of Loganville, GA; 11 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and her sister, Betty Ross of Mount Pleasant, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Gerald Graff and Lorna Wesely.
The family will receive friends from 5 - 7 p.m. Monday, March 1, at Iles Westover Chapel. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Online condolences will be welcomed at IlesCares.com.
