CEDAR RAPIDS - Bernie Sanders, the former presidential candidate and independent senator from Vermont, is scheduled to return again to Iowa next week as part of his national 'Repeal the TrumpTax Tour.”
He plans to hold a rally at 7 p.m. Friday, February 23 at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum, 50 Second Ave. Bridge in Cedar Rapids. Registration is available on Eventbrite.
Sanders launched the 100-day tour last month and also plans to lead Midwest rallies in Wisconsin and Michigan.
'Sen. Sanders and progressive grass roots organizers will continue mobilizing constituents opposed to the Republican tax plan that raises taxes on 92 million middle-class families and strips health care from 13 million people,” said a news release about the tour.
