Theresia M. Benefield, 81, of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016, at Living Center East. A private family service will
be held. Arrangements are with Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her children, David (Denise) Bailey, Brian Hamilton, William (Tina) Benefield and John (Kathy) Benefield; 13 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Theresia was born June 7, 1934, in Munich, Germany, and came to the United States when she was 16 years old. Theresia worked at Wilson's/Farmstead Foods for over 30 years. She enjoyed knitting.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Tom Galli; and sister, Minnie Stickler.
