Coulbourn, Amanda Mae
Amanda Mae Coulbourn, 80, of Farmington, Iowa, passed away Friday, June 25, 2010, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City. Per Amanda's wishes her body has been cremated. A visitation will be held from 2 until 4 p.m. Monday, June 28, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Robert; children, Kenneth Coulbourn and Crystall (Mickey) Estabrook, both of Cedar Rapids; seven grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Bessie Cross.
Amanda was born Aug. 31, 1929, in Center Point, Iowa, the daughter of William and Bessie (Conley) Cross. She married Robert Coulbourn on June 2, 1956, in Cedar Rapids. Amanda retired from Wilson Foods after 32 years of service. She was a member of Retirees Local Union 3 and United Packinghouse Workers Union. Amanda enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing cards, and spending time with her family.
