Richard A. "Rick" Huff, 70, of Kalona, formerly of Iowa City, died Thursday, Feb. 18, 2021, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Rick was born Oct. 25, 1950, in Iowa City, the son of Cecil and Patricia (Organ) Huff. Attending Iowa City schools, he graduated from City High School in 1968. On Aug. 1, 1970, he married Lucinda "Cindy" Waters in Iowa City. For many years Rick worked as an assistant production manager in Printing for the University of Iowa.
Rick was a member of the William Reynolds Masonic Lodge, where he had served as Worshipful Master; Ambassador for the El Kahir Shrine, member of the Iowa City Eagles Lodge where he had been president, Worthy Patron of the Order of Amaranth and past president of Iowa City Eagles Riders.
His family includes his wife, Cindy; daughter and her husband, Christy and John Meyer, and their son, Rick's grandson, Quintin Meyer.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Michael "Mick" Huff.
Rick was an avid motorcycle rider. When you hear thunder, it is probably him on a loud Harley.
