Highlights: Don Bosco, Gladbrook-Reinbeck, Pella win state football titles

Three state football champions were crowned at the UNI-Dome on Thursday as Don Bosco, Gladbrook-Reinbeck and Pella each took home hardware.
8-Player: Don Bosco 48, Harris-Lake Park 21
Austin Svoboda rushed for 180 yards and four touchdowns and the Dons scored 18 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to pull away.
Class A: Gladbrook-Reinbeck 20, Algona Garrigan 19
Hunter Lott's 24-yard touchdown pass to Matt Johannsen with 6:29 to go gave G-R its second straight Class A state title.
Brad Capesius' 10-yard TD pass to Joel Vaske put Garrigan up 19-14 just 2 1/2 minutes earlier.
Lott finished 11 of 14 for 139 yards and the score. Parker Brown added 90 yards and a TD on the ground for the Rebels.
Class 3A: Pella 28, Webster City 18
Pella's 41st straight victory gave it its third straight state title, but the Lynx didn't make it easy.
Webster City led 3-0 before falling behind 14-3 at the half, then cut the Dutch lead to 21-18 on Payton Kannaun's 23-yard TD run with 9:14 left.
But Pella went back up two scores on its next drive as Nick Finney hit Donovan Holterhaus for a 29-yard touchdown.
Finney was 15 of 22 for 263 yards and two TDs, both to Holterhaus. He also ran for 66 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries.
