Marjorie is survived by her sons, Bill (Vickie) Ozburn and Shane (Kim) Ozburn; daughter, Michele (Dave) Albert; five grandchildren, Cameron (Diana) Ozburn, Austin Ozburn, Jonathon (Michelle) Albert, Jenna Albert and Hallie Ozburn; seven great-grandchildren, Nathan, Zoey, Abagayle, Lincoln, Mason, Elijah and Owen; and her older sister, Eunice Diers of Edgewood.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and one sister, Nancy Squires.
Marge was born Oct. 4, 1931, the daughter of Harvey and Gertrude Koeneke. In high school, Marge was involved in many activities including chorus, speech, theater, glee club, cheerleading and was an amazing baton twirler for the high school band. Marge graduated from Colesburg High School in 1950 and moved to Cedar Rapids to work at Collins Radio Co. as an electrical inspector. On May 1, 1955, she married Kenneth Ozburn at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. Together they made their home in Marion and raised three children. They both worked at Rockwell Collins for 36-plus years and after retirement they wintered in Port Aransas, Texas, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere, making new friends and collecting seashells along the beach. Ken passed away in 1996 and Marge became a regular mall walker at Lindale Mall and joined a senior citizen bowling league.
She impacted the lives of everyone she met so deeply. She was the most giving, kind and generous person to her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Eastern Iowa Chapter Alzheimer's Association.
