GLADYS OXLEY Marion Gladys Marie Oxley, 79, of Marion, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. A funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 13, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with Father Komboh officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, June 12, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will follow the funeral service at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Gladys was born Jan. 1, 1937, in Urbana to Esther Dudley. She was united in marriage to Homer Oxley on April 24, 1965. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Homer; their children, Cindy (Craig McKusker) Deruyter, Cindy (Jerry) Walton, Jacklyn Imhoff, Richard (Jackie) Oxley and Barrie (Teresa) Oxley; beloved grandchildren, Angela (Bert) Chirinos, Jody (Danny) Sullivan and Jay (Jenny) Jasa; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her brother, Richard Wells. Gladys was preceded in death by her mother and an infant brother. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Online condolences may be made at www.cedarmemorial.com.
