Esther Mae (Stull) Beck, 88, of Belle Plaine, entered into Eternal Glory, face to face with her blessed Savior and surrounded by her family on Nov. 19, 2016.
She was born Oct. 31, 1928, in Tama County to Ora Clyde Stull and Fossie Caroline (Hand) Stull. She attended Salt Creek Country School No. 2. Esther married John Morris Beck Sr. on Sept. 30, 1944, in Troy, Kan. The two lived the majority of their lives in rural Belle Plaine.
She is survived by her sister, Mary (Beck) of Belle Plaine; beloved children, Richard (Nelsene) Beck, John Jr. (Jackie) Beck and Joan (Scott) Schild, all of Belle Plaine, Jerald Beck of Williamsburg and Dennis (Deb) Beck of LeGrand; Esther's glory was her grandchildren, Gina, Stephen, Michael, Wesley, Jerald Jr., Holly, Jess Anna, Nicolle, Heath, Cody, Jacie, Melissa, Levi, Kalista, Molly and TJ; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
Esther was preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl Susan; grandson, Shawn Beck; and her beloved husband, John.
Esther's passion in her life was that all that came in contact with her know of her strong faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and wanted all to know that through Him they too will receive salvation and eternal security. Her advice to all was "One Day At A Time."
Graveside service is at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23, in Rector Cemetery, Chelsea, with Pastor Lynn Cunningham officiating.
