Matt Holliday
MATT HOLLIDAY

Matthew Allen Holliday was born Feb. 18, 1994, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Dave and Lynda Holliday. From the start he was such a bright kid with a wicked sense of humor and a gentle heart. Matt was a student at Benton Community Schools and ran on the cross country team. He was also a member of the Honor Roll Society and Iowa Boy's state. Later he received a scholarship to Coe College.
After spending five years in Texas, Matt decided to join his family in Missouri. Matt loved his job at Northstar Battery where he had many friends and was excelling.
He is survived by parents, Dave and Lynda Holliday; brothers, Chris Holliday and David Holliday Jr.; many aunts, uncles, cousins; and his true friend, Chance Feuerhelm.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Barry Bennett, Dale Holliday and Nancy Slade; and great-grandmother, Orlo Bennett.
Regretfully Matt choose to end his life on Oct. 9, 2020. A Celebration of Life was held at Nelson Park in Marshfield, Mo.
