LESLIE EUGENE DLOUHY

Leslie E. Dlouhy of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Feb. 18, 2021, at the age of 77. He passed away surrounded by his family. A visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 22, 2021, at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories State Room. There will be a private family service. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
Following the continued guidance from health officials, physical distancing must be practiced, which requires a limited number of people allowed into the visitation at one time. The use of facemasks or shields is required.
Les is survived by his wife of 55 years, Hazel; children, Chris Dlouhy of Cedar Rapids, Jeanice (Tom) Barrow of Cedar Rapids, Paul (Heather) Dlouhy of Center Point and Deb (Strad) Dighton of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Reed, Peyton, Emma, Grace, Meggan, Ava and Mason; brother, John (Cheryl) Dlouhy of Marion; sisters-in-law, Judy of Palo and Olive (Hassa) Mirchandani of Ottawa, Canada; along with many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Vera (Huff) Dlouhy; his brothers, Joe and Terry Dlouhy; and his mother-in-law, Gladys Roberts.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy.
