MidWestOne Financial names new president, COO

A Wisconsin banker has been named president and chief operating officer of MidWestOne Financial Group and MidWestOne Bank.
Len Devaisher, most recently CEO of Old National Bank's Wisconsin Region in Madison, Wis., will assume his new position with the Iowa City-based bank holding company on July 27.
Devaisher has more than 19 years of banking experience with focused expertise in commercial banking and business development.
He will succeed Charles Funk, current president, who will continue as CEO of MidWestOne Financial and MidWestOne Bank.
Earlier in his career, Devaisher spent three years in Tanzania as chief operating officer of Young Life Africa, a Colorado-based religious organization, leading finance, human resources and legal compliance, and setting up the organizational infrastructure for affiliates across Africa.
Devaisher earned a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the University of Evansville, completed the American Bankers Association Stonier Graduate School of Banking, and earned a leadership certificate in banking from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
