Candie Cool, 52, of Iowa City, died on Feb. 25, 2021, at Lantern Park Specialty Care in Coralville.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 13, at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service, Iowa City. Family will greet friends from 10 to 11 a.m. before the service at the funeral home and following the service at the American Legion, Post 721, 901 Second St., in Coralville. Memorials may be directed to the Cool Family, in care of Victoria Durian.
Candie is survived by two children, Victoria Durian of Cedar Rapids and Brent Cool of Coralville; two sisters, Cherie Cool-Rudd (Joe) of Iowa City and Elizabeth Cool of Gila Bend, Ariz.; nieces and nephews, Rebecca Lynn Rhodes (Tanner) of Iowa City, Vince Rhodes (Lee) of Washington state and Tom Cikos Rhodes (Gabriela) of Florida; and her aunts and uncles, Bob, Bill and Dennis Mellecker of Oregon, Barbara Kemery of Arizona, Sandy Harris of California and Mary Muzer of Connecticut.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
