Huerter, Elmer Louis
Elmer Louis Huerter, 91, formerly of Anamosa, died Thursday, March 21, 2013, at Bay Pines VA Health Care System in Bay Pines, Fla. Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 6, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Anamosa. Father David O'Connor will officiate at the service, along with Deacon Dennis Mulherin (nephew) of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, Cedar Rapids. Burial will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Cedar Rapids. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 5, at Goettsch Funeral Home in Anamosa. A Scripture service will begin at 3:30 p.m. before visitation at the funeral home.
