Chase Andrew Minar, 27, of Clarence, passed away at his home Thursday, Feb. 4, 2021. A celebration of Chase's life will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 8, at the Lowden Legion.
Chase was born on Sept. 3, 1993, to Brett and Melissa Hilbert Minar in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
He is survived by his children, Jordyn and Jayce, and their mother, Ashley; his parents; brothers, Tony Miles of Washington, Iowa, Travis and Logan of Clarence, and Mason of North Liberty; maternal grandparents, Ernie and Kathy Hilbert of Wheatland; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Gary and Mavis Minar.
Chase liked helping other people, spending time with his kids, building things, frisbee golf, the outdoors and bean bags. He had a passion for carpentry and was a fun loving, outspoken person.
