PHOENIX — Former Iowa men's basketball player and Cedar Rapids Jefferson prep Jarrod Uthoff played 27 minutes Sunday for the Dallas Mavericks in a loss to the Phoenix Suns, 124-111.
Uthoff had 12 points, including two 3-pointers, and added nine rebounds, one assist and one steal.
It was the most minutes he's played and the most points and rebounds he's tallied in any game with Dallas.
The 6-foot-9 forward signed a multiyear contract with the Mavericks on March 29.
Dallas has just two more games remaining — Tuesday vs. Denver and Wednesday at Memphis.
