Former Iowa point guard Jeff Peterson is transferring to Florida State ... from Arkansas

The NCAA has a rule that allows players who have finished their undergraduate degree to transfer elsewhere and play immediately.
We saw it this week with quarterback Russell Wilson, who is headed to Wisconsin for his last year of collegiate athletic eligibility after playing three seasons at North Carolina State.
Today, former Iowa guard Jeff Peterson announced he is transferring from Arkansas to Florida State. Peterson played two years at Iowa, transferred to Arkansas, sat out the required year as a transfer, and played last season. Arkansas changed coaches, and Peterson is changing schools. Again. He reportedly considered returning to Iowa.
Which would have been odd.
There's a lesson here, kids. It's get your degree in four years, not five. It's cheaper, and it gives you more options. If you're a talented football or basketball player, that is.
