Dennis Milton Hamann, 68, of Garnavillo, died suddenly Thursday, April 30, 2015, in his home in National, Iowa.
Dennis is survived by his wife of 46 years, Beverly; one daughter, Tracy (Mike) Nemechek; one son, Aaron (Shanna) Hamann; six grand-children, Timothy, Ashley, Megan, Samuel Nemechek, Dakota and Jenna Hamann; one sister, Darlyce Hamann; one brother, James (Linda) Hamann; one brother-in-law, Ray Troester; and many relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Janis Troester.
Arrangements are being handled by Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, 001 S. Industrial Park Rd., Garnavillo, where the family will receive friends from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday, May 4. The family also will receive friends one hour before services at the church. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, at Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church, Elkader, with the Rev. Jerome Godson officiating. Interment will be in Garnavillo Community Cemetery.
