Chris Terry Klug, 63, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, Aug. 10, 2015, at St. Luke's Hospital. A celebration of life gather-ing will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 16, at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling St. SW. Private family inurnment will be at a later date.
Chris was born March 12, 1952, in Milwaukee, Wis., the son of Kenneth and Shirley (Keipper) Klug. He graduated from Washington High School in 1971. He attended Kirk-wood Community College. Chris was united in marriage to Nancy Frana on Feb. 12, 1977, in Atkins. He worked at Harnisch-feger, Hi-Way Equipment, and most recently, at Alexandria Apartments.
He enjoyed fishing, camping, his dogs, watching TV and spending time with his family.
Chris is survived by his wife, Nancy; his daughter, Christina Klug (Scott Menke) of Fort Collins, Colo.; his siblings, Kevin (Cathy) Klug of Cedar Rapids and Scott Klug of Iowa City; brothers-in-law, Neil (Ranae) Frana of Central City, and Terry (Judy) Frana and Bruce (Julie) Frana, both of Cedar Rapids; his aunt, Marie Klug of Cedarburg, Wis.; his mother-in-law, Dolores Struck of Cedar Rapids; as well as his nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
