Jane Elaine Fencl, 66, of Solon, passed away Friday, Dec. 18, 2015, at Mechanicsville Nursing and Rehab Center. Celebration of life services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22, at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in
Solon, located at 100 S. Cedar St. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 21, at Brosh Chapel. Inurnment will be in Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery near Solon.
Jane was born Jan. 20, 1949, in Decorah, the daughter of Mahlon and Lola (Quandahl) Borseth. Jane was united in marriage to Jim Fencl on Feb. 26, 1966, in Cedar Rapids. She worked through the years at Armstrong's, Solon Care Center, Jack and Jill Country Store, Meth-Wick and most recently, at the Salvation Army.
She enjoyed bingo, playing cards, taking road trips with her friend, Penny, and spending time with her family, especially the grandkids.
Jane is survived by her husband, Jim; four children, Jeff Fencl of Solon, Jason (Lynn) Fencl of Mount Vernon, Jill (Dana) Beatty of Martelle and Justin (Holly) Fencl of Solon; four grandchildren, Raven Beatty (fiance, Cody Suntken), Erin Fencl, Alex Fencl and Emma Fencl; and a brother, Carson Borseth of Illinois.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Linda Zahradnik and Penny Hickey; and her two brothers, Richard and Roy Borseth.
