Turkal, Joseph 'Joe' Herbert
Joseph “Joe” Herbert Turkal, 83, of Solon, died Thursday, July 19, 2012, at the Solon Nursing Care Center. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 26, at Brosh Chapel in Solon. Private family burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Solon.
Joe was born Dec. 3, 1928, in Solon, the son of Carl and Lotus (Randall) Turkal. He married Marjorie Fulton on June 7, 1952, at the Solon United Methodist Church.
Joe is survived by his children, Malinda (Bruce) Anderson of Solon, Mat (Katy) Turkal of Evergreen, Colo., and Mark (Jody) Turkal of Solon; grandchildren, Vicki (John) See, Hannah Turkal, David Bremer and Max Turkal; and his great-grandchildren, Lucus, Cindy and Jacob.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Marjorie.
