Beauregard, Betty Ann
Betty Ann Beauregard, 80, of Central City, died Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2011, at Jones Regional Medical Center in Anamosa. Memorial services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 22, at Murdoch Funeral Home in Central City, with Pastor Ed Moreano officiating. Family will greet friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial: Mount Clark Cemetery, at a later date.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Beauregard; children, Robert (Vanessa) Beauregard of Cedar Rapids, Russell (Sharon) Beauregard of Central City, Mark (Dedra) Beauregard of Central City, Diane (Kevin) Kurth of Monticello and David (Kellie) Beauregard of Glenburn, N.D.; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a half sister, Alice (Randy) Getchel of Minnesota.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Bob Phillips and Doris Matthews.
Betty was born July 8, 1931, in Central City, the daughter of Douglas K. and Phyllis E. (Phelps) Phillips. On March 15, 1952, Betty was united in marriage to Kenneth Beauregard at Central City United Methodist Church. Betty was a member of the United Methodist Church in Central City and the American Legion Auxiliary.
A memorial fund has been established in Betty's honor.
