Milota, Jerry
Jerry Milota, 75, of Sacramento, Calif., formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Jan. 12, 2010. Memorial services will be Jan. 19 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Folsom Masonic Center, 1000 Duchow Way, Folsom, CA 95630.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra; children, Randy Milota, Shari Lee Douglas and Jeffrey Milota; brothers, Leo Milota of Cedar Rapids and James Milota of Marion; sister, Shirley Jones of Cedar Rapids; and grandchildren, Olivia, Connor, Alex, Christian, Aimee and Katelyn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph and Mary Milota; two brothers, Robert Milota and Roy Milota; and sisters, Betty Jane Milota and Mariann Kramer.
Jerry was born Nov. 29, 1934, in Cedar Rapids to Rudolph and Mary Milota. Jerry served in the U.S. Navy from July 7, 1953 to June 26, 1957. Jerry then moved to California and pursued a career as an electrician.
His great loves were his family, friends, and RV. He loved traveling with his wife and spending time with his family and friends.
