Dooley, Roberta (Akers)
Roberta (Akers) Dooley, 66, of Oskaloosa, passed away Feb. 3, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center, Des Moines, after a lingering illness. Services: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, at Bates Funeral Chapel, Oskaloosa, where friends may call after noon Tuesday.
Survivors include her husband, Eddie; sons, Scott (Shirley) Akers and Nathaniel Dooley and fiancee Cheryl; grandson, Brandon; sisters, Cecelia (Victor) Perez and Linda Anderson; and brothers, Keith, Michael and John (Pat) Akers.
She was preceded in death by her father, Alfred Akers; mother, Jeannette Jones; son, Randy; daughter-in-law, Sarah; grandsons, Nick and Robert; and brother, Harold.
