Holst, Kathryn M.
Kathryn M. Holst, 89, died Monday, March 8, 2010, at her son's home in Iowa City following a lingering illness. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Hrabak Funeral Home by Mary Beth Siemann, Hospice Chaplain. Burial will be in the Marengo Cemetery on Saturday. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
She is survived by daughters, Donna (Mike) Owens of Lawson, Mo. and Berta (Charley) Garrett of Excelsior Springs, Mo.; sons, David (Mary) Dixon of Iowa City, Raymond (Bonnie) Schwab of Sherrard, Ill., and Ken (Bonnie) Schwab of Belle Plaine; sisters, Lenore (Chester) Pearson, Ruth Mary Tibbetts, and Marcia Lamprecht; brothers, Norman (Jan) Herman and Keith (Mary Ann) Herman; also by 18 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to Iowa Hospice or the Belle Plaine Community Center.
