Appointments

Aid to Women announced several new board members: Kristy Staker, Coe College; Rick Kullander, Skogman Realty; Steve Neighbor, Farmer's State Bank; and Ryan Burns, Cedar Rapids Toyota Scion.

Jim Sealy (see photo) joined St. Luke's Health Care Foundation in Cedar Rapids as president. Sealy previously worked for IBM. He has served on the St. Luke's Hospital and Iowa Health System boards of trustees.

Promotions

Brooke Moore (see photo) was promoted to clinical nurse manager at Mercy Medical Center's Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Center in Cedar Rapids. Moore most recently served as assistant nurse manager for the center.

John Dorfler was named market president for Wells Fargo in Cedar Rapids. Dorfler serves on the board of Priority One, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cedar Rapids, Junior Achievement and the Downtown District's SSMID.

David Wenzel (see photo) became associated with Lynch Dallas in Cedar Rapids. Wenzel is a graduate of Creighton University School of Law.

Northeast Iowa RC&D announced that Mallory Marlatt was named Scenic Byway Project Coordinator for the Delaware Crossing and Grant Wood Scenic Byways. Marlatt has been selected to coordinate a regional initiative, which will help the RC&D provide assistance to Scenic Byway Boards and develop the capacity of the Delaware Crossing Scenic Byway and the Grant Wood Scenic Byway.

The Alzheimer's Association East Central Iowa chapter announced the election of the new members to the 2012 board of directors: Carolyn Barko (see photo), St. Luke's Hospital; Doug Jontz (see photo), Mercy Medical Center; Kent Roeder (see photo), Mendota Hearth Products; and Jon Sewell (see photo), Health Enterprises of Iowa. Named as newly elected officers for 2012 were Patrick Allen (see photo), president; Gary Wicklund (see photo), vice president; Jeremy Mead (see photo), treasurer; and Debbie Craig (see photo), secretary.
