DOUGLAS D. EDEN Wellman Douglas D. Eden, 52, of Wellman, formerly of Anamosa, passed away Sunday, April 16, 2017, at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison, Wis., after a 25-year battle with liver disease. In his memory, please consider becoming an organ and tissue donor. Doug was born and raised in Anamosa. He graduated from Anamosa Senior High School in 1983 and the University of Iowa. He had a variety of occupations over the years, including Campus Amoco, Moore Business Forms and Geico Insurance in Iowa City and English River Antiques in Kalona. Doug Eden married Kay Kolosiek. They later divorced. Doug leaves behind a son, Hunter of Kalona; parents, Ivan and Linda Eden of Anamosa; brother, Dennis (Tina) Eden; nephews, John and Ben Eden of Vinton; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. A celebration of Doug's life will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 20, at the Lawrence Community Center in Anamosa. A private family graveside service will be at a later date.
