Gordon Dale Lewis, 55, of Monroe, La., formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, March 14, 2017.
Survivors include his wife, Tina Mach-Lewis; a daughter, Amber; two brothers, Ron and Dan; and a sister, Dyann.
He was preceded in death by his father, Doward; and his mother, Gertrud.
Gordy was born Jan. 11, 1962. He served in the Marine Corps shortly after gradu-ating from Jefferson High School. He then worked for W.R. Grace (Cryovac) for 35 years and earned his bachelor's degree from Coe College.
He was a huge Iowa Hawkeyes fan, enjoyed golf, diving, and spending time with family and friends.
Gordy will be remembered for his laugh, huge heart and larger-than-life persona.
