Kenneth H. Schultz, 68, of Coralville, died at his home on Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2014. A time for family and friends to remember Ken will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3, at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City. Private family graveside services, with military honors provided, will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Iowa City.

Ken was born July 30, 1946, in Toledo, Ohio, the son of Howard E. and Rose Marie (Maxfield) Schultz. His family moved to Iowa City in 1958, when his father was transferred with Owens Brush Co. Ken graduated from City High School in 1964 and received a B.A. degree from DeVry University. For most of his working career he was a computer engineer with Hewlett Packard.
His family includes a sister and her husband, Patricia S. and Charles Finlay of Strongsville, Ohio; and their two children, a niece and nephew, Sara Dolin and her husband, Dan, and James Finlay.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents and a number of aunts and uncles.
