RR's Gensler taken by Youngstown in expansion draft

Forward Brett Gensler was selected Monday by the new Youngstown franchise in the USHL's expansion draft. Gensler, 18, had 10 goals and 10 assists in 52 regular-season games for the Riders last season. He went scoreless in four playoff games.

Each existing USHL team could protect up to 8 "veteran" players in the expansion draft.

Here's the list of guys Youngstown took. If you didn't see it, Indiana beat Fargo, three games to one, in the USHL playoff finals. That's gotta make the RoughRiders feel even worse.
