Best Bets: SNL’s Chris Redd

Straight from 'Saturday Night Live,” actor, writer, standup, sketch and improv performer Chris Redd will be live in Cedar Rapids this weekend. A featured player for SNL's 43rd season, he also stars opposite Andy Samberg in 'Pop Star: Never Stop Never Stopping,” produced by Judd Apatow. He'll play opposite Amy Poehler and Will Ferrell in 'The House”; the Netflix film 'A Futile and Stupid Gesture,” opposite Will Forte; and he has the lead role in the independent comedy 'Fat Camp.” Originally from Chicago, Redd was a frequent performer at Second City and other area clubs.
