McFarland, Georgia L. (Maske)
Georgia L. (Maske) McFarland, 63, of Iowa City, died Saturday, June 19, 2010, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics following a short illness.
Georgia Lee Rath was born April 13, 1937, in Iowa City, the daughter of Hubert and Orvetta (Stover) Rath. Her family includes her husband, Gary McFarland; two sons, Todd Maske of Iowa City, and Rick Maske (Rebecca) of Russellville, Ark.; grandchildren, Spencer and Kaitlyn Maske; and siblings, Hubert Rath (Gertrude) of Welborn, Fla., Connie Sorell (Denny) of Washington, Iowa, Karen Droll (Marvin) of Concrete, Wash., Francis Kelly of Burlington, Cheryl Wenger of West Branch, and Robert Rath (Susan) of Homestead.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Sandra Rodgers; and a brother, Gordon Rath.
No public services are planned, family services have been held through the Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service of Iowa City.
