Linda L. Zumbrunnen, 64, of Monticello, died Saturday, April 4, 2015, at the Monticello Nursing and Rehabilitation Center following an extended illness. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 8, at Peace United Church of Christ, with interment in Oakwood Cemetery. Pastor Michael Cleeton will officiate at the services. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Goettsch Funeral Home, Monticello, is caring for Linda and the family.

Surviving are her siblings, Jerry (Maretta) Zumbrunnen, Marion, and Wanda (Jim) Zimmerman, Postville; her sister-in-law, Shirley Zumbrunnen, Monticello; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Dwayne and Dean; and her sister, Betty Parsons Boots.
Linda L. Zumbrunnen was born April 15, 1950, at John McDonald Hospital, Monticello, Iowa, the daughter of Edward and Evelyn Zeadow Zumbrunnen. Linda attended the Hardscrabble School No. 9 and then Anamosa Community Schools. Linda enjoyed being outside when they lived on the farm. She loved to listen to music and dance with her brother, Dean, play with her stuffed animals and her jewelry.
