Reader questions where tax dollars are going

Maybe there should be an audit of the Iowa government's handling of money.
Where is all this money going, especially with the raising of tuition, the extra tax put on gas, lottery, game and fishing (which I might add our parks and camping areas have been very neglected)?
I work for a state university. All the cut backs are on the workers. Management is strong as ever.
We need to reevaluate who is in charge here and where are tax dollars going?
