Patricia Leah Hagen was born May 3, 1938, the daughter of Merritt and Vivian (Moore) Shaull. She graduated form Marengo High School, then attended cosmetology school in Cedar Rapids. Pat was united in marriage to Kenneth Martin Hagen on Sept. 26, 1959, at St. John Lutheran Church in Marengo. She spent her time enjoying cooking, quilting, gardening, mowing the lawn and spending time with her family. She also volunteered at Rose Haven Nursing Home for a number of years. Pat was a member of St. John Lutheran Church near Homestead. Pat passed away Thursday, Dec. 27, 2018, at Rose Haven Nursing Home in Marengo at the age of 80.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Kenneth; two sons, Mark (Irene) Hagen of Laveen, Ariz., and Todd ( Wendy) Hagen of Homestead; four grandsons, Shawn (Laura) Hagen, Gabe (Jesse) Hagen, Taylor (fiancee Hannah) Hagen and Tanner Hagen; a sister, Charlotte (Ron) Iberg of Austin, Texas; and Ron (Rosalie) Shaull of Marengo.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents; son, Brett Hagen; and sister, Jeroldine Soar.
Celebration of Life will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 31, 2018, at St. John Lutheran Church near Homestead. Burial will be at St. John Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg.
