Henny, Dean
Dean Henny, 69, of Hastings, Minn., formerly of Homestead, Iowa, died Aug. 15, 2009, after a courageous battle with cancer. A memorial service will be held at Meadow Hill Christian Fellowship Church, Homestead, on Sept. 5 at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Diane Buswell officiating. A potluck luncheon will follow at the Homestead Welfare Club.
Survivors include a sister, Ruby Mosier of Cedar Rapids; fiancee, Laine McGee; and extended family in Hastings; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and many nephews, nieces and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 47 years, Beverly; his children, Lonnie Dean, Kimberly Jo and Dean Wayne; and brother, Vernon Henry.
