Williams, Mary Ann
Mary Ann Williams, 71, of Manchester, died Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012, at Regional Medical Center in Manchester. Burial will be at a later date at Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include five children, Patricia Parkinson of Cedar Rapids, Chestine Vanderslice of Cedar Rapids, Wendy (Brad) Ridenour of Strawberry Point, Kevin Williams of Phoenix, Ariz., and Amy (Doug) Bruce of Cedar Rapids; a sister, Ellen Ronnefelt (Red Lewis) of Waterville; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mary was born March 12, 1940, the daughter of Charles and Edna (Butters) Pierce in Cedar Rapids. She married Amos Williams. He died Oct. 29, 2008. Mary worked as a housekeeper at Mercy Medical Center.
