Patricia "Pat" Ann McEowen, 83, of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, April 21, 2016, at Heritage Manor. Services: 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church by the Rev. Christopher Podhajsky. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday after 9 a.m. at the church. Teahen Funeral Home is serving the family.
Pat is survived by her brother, Charles "Chuck" (Mary) McEowen of Cedar Rapids; and she was an aunt to 14 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Helen; sister, Mary Conrad; and two brothers, Martin and Gerald McEowen.
Patricia was born April 29, 1932, in Iowa City, the daughter of George and Helen Carroll McEowen. She worked as a dietary kitchen assistant at Mercy Medical Center for 33 years.
Pat never got to enjoy the life we have. It was not her fault, but she worked through it. She lived a full life, supported her family, and showed loved to everyone she met.
