Houser, Patricia Ann (Auten)
Patricia Ann (Auten) Houser, 82, a resident of Scottsdale, Ariz., passed away Friday, July 12, 2013, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Pat was born in Cedar Bluffs, Neb., and grew up in Belle Plaine, Iowa. She married Lumir Houser in Newhall, Iowa, on Oct. 24, 1953, and resided there until they relocated to Scottsdale in 1969.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Margaret (Wolf) Auten; brother, Rolland Auten; and sister, Dorothy Anderson.
Pat will be dearly missed by her husband, Lumir; her sister, Joyce Eyler; her four children, Jim (Tammy), Jane Stimbert (Mike), Terri Micale (Nick) and Susie Romo (Ron); seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, at Messinger Mortuary, 7601 E. Indian School Rd., Scottsdale. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 7655 E. Main St., Scottsdale.
