ZACHARY NEWCOMB

Zachary William Newcomb, 23, of Windsor, Calif., passed away July 9, 2015, from a fatal car accident. There will be a Celebration of Life July 25 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Palo Community Center.
Zach is the son of Tara Nolting (Michael) of Palo and Jeremy Hoffman (Kirstin Trefz) of Santa Rosa, Calif. He is survived by four siblings, Alex and Sarah Nolting and Nicole and Calvin Hoffman. Grandparents are William and Cathy Newcomb, Ronald and Janet Nolting, John Hoffman and Laura Otting and Judi and Lyle Rogers. He is a nephew to Brooke and Jeff Taylor, Rob and Amy Nolting, Timothy Hoffman, Miller Hoffman (Corrine) and Jonathan Hoffman (Sharon).
Born Dec. 28, 1991, in Cedar Rapids, Zach grew up in Iowa, graduating from Jefferson High School in 2010. He moved to California, where he worked as a screen technician. Zach was very creative. He enjoyed drawing, painting and glassblowing. Zach loved music and the outdoors.
A kind and sensitive young man, Zach loved everyone and loved making others happy. He will be remembered for his generous spirit and his fabulous smile.
Zach was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.
