Woman cuts boyfriend during argument over breakup
Police said a man had injuries to his head, an arm and a leg after his girlfriend came after him with a knife Friday morning.
Kimberly L. Summers, 34, was arrested on suspicion of assault causing bodily injury after the disturbance around 5:15 a.m. at 4009 Westover Rd. SE. Police said stabbed and cut her live-in boyfriend, 34-year-old Charles Wilson II.
Wilson was transported to St. Luke's Hospital. His injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, police said.
Police said the couple was arguing about breaking up when Summers pulled a knife. She was taken to the Linn County Jail.
