Cecily "Sissy" Brown, 78, died Monday, Sept. 21, 2015, at her home in Quasqueton. Services: 2
p.m. Thurs-day, Sept. 24, at Hoover Wesleyan Church, east of Quasque-ton. Her body will be cremated. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at the church.
Survivors include seven children, Mike (Patricia) Sojka of Moorhead, Minn., Allen Brown of Manchester, Stacey Starman of Urbandale, Mary (Bob) Sojka of Monroe, Ga., Theresa (Jim) Verhulst of Holland, Mich., Christi Takes of Cedar Rapids and Johnna (Allan) Nunnemaker of rural Quasqueton; 18 grand-children and seven great-grandchildren.
