A Corridor customer service provider is planning to hire 300 employees to meet increased demand from existing Fortune 500 clients in communications and entertainment.
Thomas L. Cardella & Associates operates Iowa call centers in Cedar Rapids, Coralville, Keokuk and Marshalltown. The privately owned company, which employs about 600, provides customer service management and sales through integrated contact channels: inbound and outbound calls, email, direct mail, chat, and social media.
Thomas Cardella, president of TLC Associates, said in a news release the new positions involve inbound customer service, inbound account management and inbound sales. Representatives will be helping consumers manage their wireless phone and Internet accounts, purchase entertainment and home services packages, and troubleshoot home and personal electronics performance.
'With this expansion, and a soon to be announced new client, TLC Associates will nearly double its size in 2015 and will need to launch a new location,” Cardella said.
Cardella said the company is investing in expanded employee lounges with homelike settings and entertainment for employees' use. He said the company also is increasing wages and providing added professional development opportunities.
