UPDATE: A series of accidents this morning slowed traffic for Cedar Rapids commuters.
Police were forced to divert traffic off Edgewood Road NW after a van hit a pole in the northbound lanes just after 7 a.m. Traffic was detoured onto O Avenue NW for more than an hour until a tow truck could remove it. There's no report on possible injuries.
Then a Jeep flipped onto its side in the northbound lanes of Interstate 380 just south of Blairs Ferry Road around 8:30 a.m., slowing traffic. No one was injured.
An accident on northbound Interstate 380 also slowed traffic in both directions just north of the H Ave exit around 7:30 a.m. Debris slowed traffic in both directions in the area of the crash.
And another crash in that area was reported around 9 a.m.
